Steve Hanson

Everyone at Phoenix Dance Theatre is immensely saddened to hear of the passing of photographer Steve Hanson following a long battle with illness. Steve captured many of the iconic images of the company, particularly throughout the 1990s, and worked with Phoenix as recently as 2009 on the photos for Sharon Watson’s first major UK tour Declarations. An immensely talented photographer, a true professional, and a long term friend he will be missed by all of us.
