Born in Valencia, Spain, Ana trained at the Ballet Clásico de Valencia and at the Rambert School in London. She danced with Ballet Clásico de Valencia between 1993 and 1994 and with Rambert Dance Company for the next eleven years. Ana has worked with many major choreographers including Richard Alston, Mark Baldwin, Rafael Bonachela, Christopher Bruce, Michael Clark, Robert Cohan, Aletta Collins, Merce Cunningham, Siobhan Davies, Mats Ek, Javier De Frutos, Jiri Kylian, Lindsay Kemp, Wayne McGregor, Ohan Naharin, Paul Taylor, Twyla Tharp, Antony Tudor, Didy Veldman, Fin Walker, Kim Bandstrup, Karole Armitage, Jeremy James, Per Jonsonn, Mark Baldwin, Ian Spink and Glen Tetley.

Ana has created choreographic works for the Rambert School, The Curve Foundation Dance Company in Edinburgh (Scotland), Resolution! at The Place, and for a short film, Helena. She has also taught Classical and Contemporary classes at Universidad Miguel Hernandez, Museo Principe Felipe, Compañia Centro Coreográfico, NSCD, Rambert Dance Company, Rambert School, and Phoenix Dance Theatre.

Jo trained at The Royal Ballet School. On graduation she continued her studies at London Studio Centre where she gained a BA Hons in Theatre Dance, and performed with Intoto Dance Company. She then worked with The Flying Gorillas Movement Theatre Company, before joining Nu-tempo Dance Company. Following this Jo worked as a freelance dancer. Recent credits include: One Touch of Venus (Opera North), Pinocchio (ROH2), Carousel (Chichester Festival Theatre), The Girls (music video for Calvin Harris), and Cabaret (Lyric Theatre), where she has also recently been working as Assistant Choreographer. Tiziana is Italian but was born in South Africa. After completing her training in South Africa she joined the State Theatre Dance Company (SA). Since then she has worked in Europe, Australia and Japan, performing works by numerous choreographers including Ohad Naharin, Itzik Galili, Moses Pendelton, Aleksei Ratmansky, Marie Brolin-Tani, Tim Feldman, Robert North, Vincent Mantsoe, Robert Battle and Arthur Pita. Tiziana choreographed for the short film The Madness of the Dance, has created two works for the Copenhagen International Ballet, and was Assistant Choreographer for Show Boat at The Royal Albert Hall, London. She has also choreographed for various corporate companies, including Back Row. She has taught dance at The Place and Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and delivered workshops at over 150 schools in the UK, to a variety of ages and abilities, as well as being a quest teacher for various professional companies.

Born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Dane trained at Toynbee Ballet School. He won the National Dance Competition 2002 in Johannesburg and in 2003 was awarded a bursary by the Linbury Trust and Ernest Oppenheimer Memorial Trust Fund to train at the Rambert Dance School in London. While at Rambert School, Dane was awarded runner up prize at the Barbara Goeghan Ceccheti Dance Competition 2003. In 2004 he joined Rambert Dance Company under the apprentice scheme and was the first recipient of the Sally Gilmore Memorial Trust bursary. In 2006 Dane was nominated for Best Emerging Dancer of the Year, and in 2007 was awarded the Modern Male Spotlight Dancer, both by the Critics’ Circle National Dance Awards UK. Also in 2007, Dane choreographed In the Hands of Others for the Rambert Workshop season, sponsored by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

Born in New Zealand, Anita started ballet classes at the age of four. At 16 she moved to London where she attended the Royal Ballet School for two years, during which time she won a silver medal at the Adeline Genée Awards. On graduating as top female student in 2000 she joined Bayerisches Staatsballett, where she danced for three years. Anita then moved to Holland and danced with Nederlands Dans Theater II for a year before returning to New Zealand. Back at home Anita took part in various work and training for three years, including going to film school, choreographing, and dancing for both Michael Parmenter and Royal New Zealand Ballet. In 2006 she was the winner of a television contest ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, and released a self-produced and directed dance class DVD entitled ‘MOVE-IT’.

Originally from Southern Vietnam, Dam Van Huynh was raised and educated in the United States. Dam began dancing at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) in Southern California. Furthering his training, Dam attended and graduated from The Boston Conservatory of Music and Dance with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. While at the Boston Conservatory, he was fortunate enough to perform great works by José Limón, Martha Graham, Sean Curran, Lazlo Berdo and many others. In his professional career, Dam has worked with various companies and choreographers including The Nevada Ballet, Merce Cunningham Dance Company (RUG), Portugal’s Companhia Danca de Contemporaneo (CeDeCe) and The Richard Alston Dance Company.

Franklyn started his training at Footlights Dance Centre in King's Lynn where he was also a representative of the Eastern Region gymnastics squad. He then went on to the Rambert School, graduating in 2006 with a BA Hons.

David completed his secondary and tertiary education at the Victorian College of Arts in Melbourne, Australia, where he was awarded Most Promising Ballet Dancer, 2000. He joined West Australian Ballet in 2002, performing principal and soloist roles for Natalie Weir, Adrian Burnett, John Utans, Matjash Mrozewski, Ted Bransen, Hans Van Manen, Simon Dow and Ashley Page. |
In 2004, he moved to London to join Rambert Dance Company, where he was cast in works by Mark Baldwin, Aletta Collins, Kim Brandstrup, Wayne McGregor, Michael Clark, Peter Darrell, Merce Cunningham, Enrique Rodovalho, Christopher Bruce and Javier De Frutos. |
David joined Phoenix Dance Theatre in Autumn 2006. In all companies David has contributed to the education programmes, teaching modern and classical ballet technique as well as choreographic workshops. In 2006 and 2007 he taught company class for Phoenix as well as Australian Dance Theatre during their UK tour. |

Bradley trained in ISTD and at the National School of the Arts in Johannesburg and The Ailey School, NYC. He has performed with the Alvin Ailey Repertory Company, Elisa Monte Dance, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, The Francesca Harper Project, José Limón Dance Company and as guest artist with Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Co. He has also performed solo tours and galas throughout Europe and the USA and has choreographed works for international companies in the USA and Europe. He is Artistic Director of Bradley Shelver Contemporary Dance Theater, is on the Faculty of: The Alvin Ailey School, Oure School (Denmark), STEPS (NYC), IALS (Rome), MAS Academy (Milan) and has taught as company teacher for Matthew Bourne's 'New Adventures in Motion Pictures'. He is a monthly columnist for Dance Spirit Magazine in the USA and his book, "Techniques of performance through the Horton Technique" will be published by Lepos in 2008.

Since then she has created the roles of: the Little Mermaid with Kim Brandstrup in Hans Christian Anderson's Anatomy of a Story Teller (Arc Dance Company), Helena in Cathy Marston's Ghosts (The Cathy Marston Project), and the fox/towns person in Pinocchio for ROH2, choreographed by William Tuckett. |
More recently Clemmie played the part of Louise in Carousel at the Chichester Festival Theatre, where she began her working relationship with Javier De Frutos. She went on to work with him performing in Cabaret at the Lyric in London's West End.
She is very glad to be joining Phoenix Dance Theatre and to be dancing for a very exciting company. |
