Ben Duke studied at Guildford School of Acting before training at London Contemporary Dance School. He wrote and directed Davina’s Landed which was performed at the Union Theatre, London. He has worked as a performer with Dominic Leclerc and Fleur Darkin. He joined Maresa von Stockert’s Tilted Co. in the summer 2004 and toured with the company’s production of Grim[m] Desires in 2005.

Raquel Meseguer trained at London Contemporary Dance School graduating with a first class degree in 2004. She joined Maresa von Stockert’s Tilted Co. in the summer 2004 and toured with the company’s production of Grim[m] Desires in 2005.

Together, Ben Duke and Raquel Meseguer formed a new company, Lost Dog, creating Pave up Paradise, which won first Prize at the Burgos International Choreography competition in July 2004. In August 2005, they premiered a further new work, The Drowner, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2005. A reworked and expanded version of The Drowner will be presented by The Place in Spring 2006.
