Having worked with Phoenix Dance for several years as a freelance designer and maker, as well as for Mobius Dance, Verve, Transitions Dance Company, Melissa is now joining the team as Wardrobe Manager for the upcoming production of Requiem with Opera North. From her initial training at The Arts University of Bournemouth in classical ballet construction to her internship at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, her creative focus has always been on the beauty and technical complexity of designing and making for dance.
