Healthy Holidays – Dance for Health

Here at Phoenix Dance Theatre, we are committed to providing free holiday childcare that helps combat inactivity and social isolation while offering valuable support and respite for parents and carers.
Throughout the year, we deliver a range of exciting holiday clubs designed to inspire creativity, build confidence and encourage children to stay active. From contemporary dance to child-led creative workshops, our sessions introduce participants to the many benefits of dance, promoting physical activity, wellbeing and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.
Thanks to the generous support of Leeds Community Foundation, we are delighted to offer another year of our FREE Healthy Holidays – Dance for Health Club.
Taking place during the school holidays, these clubs are suitable for both complete beginners and experienced young dancers. Children aged 5-11 will enjoy an engaging week of dance, creativity and fun, led by our experienced professional dance practitioners.
Each week includes:
- Dance technique and choreography
- Creative craft and music workshops
- Relaxing cool-down sessions
All activities are delivered by Phoenix Dance Theatre’s professional dance practitioners in a welcoming and inclusive environment. To ensure every child is well fuelled throughout the day, nutritious snacks and a hot lunch are provided at no extra cost.
We are also able to support with travel to and from Leeds city centre. For more information, please contact Vicci Hamilton vicci.hamilton@phoenixdancetheatre.co.uk
