The Nadine Senior MBE Remembrance Fund
11 Feb 2016
On 28 January Leeds dance pioneer Nadine Senior passed away following a stroke.
Nadine Senior was born in Hull on October 4, 1939. Nadine loved dance, jazz, painting and the odd glass of wine! She always saw the potential in people, especially the young, and worked selflessly throughout her life to help them realise that potential. Nadine touched so many people we are all proud to have known her.
The long history of Phoenix Dance Theatre begins with Nadine and her support for the Company was the inspiration that underscored the spirit and driving force of Phoenix Dance Theatre.
In a fitting and lasting way to honour Nadine’s memory, her family have decided to raise money in tribute to her life and make a difference in the fight against stroke.
Nadine’s family welcomes friends of Nadine to share photos, stories and donate to the Stroke Association at http://nadine.senior.muchloved.com.
Nadine is much loved by so many and will always be remembered by all her family and friends.
