We are thrilled to announce that Phoenix Dance Theatre’s Artistic Director Sharon Watson features as part of the Northern Power Women Awards very first ‘Top 50 Power List’ which recognises the leaders and change makers who are making a positive difference and impact towards gender diversity in the North.

Northern Power Women is a campaign to improve gender diversity from the North of England, increasing opportunities for women to drive economic growth and drive positive change, working alongside businesses, universities and government. Members of the Top 50 Power List provide both the inspiration and opportunity to women in the workplace by challenging the norm and ensuring that everyone they work with recognises the benefit of have a gender-balanced workplace. 

The very first Northern Power Women awards was held at Hilton Deansgate Manchester on 3 March 2016 and Sharon Watson, who was also nominated as Agent of Change, represented the company among 400 role models, leaders and future talent.
