Sharon Watson Recognised at the Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards

On Friday 20th May 2016 Sharon Watson was recognised for her achievements in business at the Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards.
Celebrating the awards 30th anniversary at New Dock Hall in Leeds, women from all across Yorkshire gathered together to celebrate their achievements, whilst also raising money for Sue Ryder, a charity that provides compassionate care to people with end of life and long term needs.
Every year the people of Yorkshire to nominate women they believe to have excelled within the different award categories including include the Women of Achievement in Business, Education, Sport, Young Achievers, the Jane Tomlinson Courage Award and the Community Impact Award.
800 people gathered together to celebrate 70 incredible nominees in a glittering ceremony hosted by BBC Radio Leeds‘ Liz Green. Sharon Watson was awarded Highly Commended in Business for her dedication to diversity in the sector and commitment to progressing opportunities for Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.
