We are thrilled to announce the Spring Tour 2027 of Sincerely, The Breakfast Club. 

Inspired by the 1985 film The Breakfast Club, our upcoming full-length narrative production will premiere in Spring 2027. Titled ‘Sincerely, The Breakfast Club’, the dance theatre work uses the film’s narrative as a blueprint and, through a multicultural lens, reveals how shared vulnerability can break down stereotypical labels and create moments of genuine connection. Set within the confines of a detention, the characters embody resistance, insecurity, longing, and unexpected tenderness as they realise they have more in common than they once thought.

As the students’ detention is held in the school library, poetry and literature seep into the score from the bookshelves, offering various perspectives inspired by the film’s themes and showcased through the lenses of diverse literary voices.

Following the success of our award-nominated 2025 Spring Tour, Inside Giovanni’s Room, the creative team comes together again for this upcoming full-length dance work inspired by The Breakfast Club, with music composed by Marc Strobel, dramaturgy from Tonderai Munyevu, alongside choreography by Marcus Jarrell Willis.
