Errol is an award-winning performer, choreographer and movement director: Dance Europe Magazine’s Critics Award for Best Male Performer; Marion North Mentoring Award for Choreography and the Lisa Ullman Travelling Scholarship Award. 

Trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Errol performed internationally with some of the UK’s best known contemporary dance companies, including Phoenix Dance Theatre, Scottish Dance Theatre, Random Dance Company and National Dance Company of Wales before setting up his own company White & Givan with partner, Davina Givan. Recent choreographic collaborations with Davina Givan include the critically acclaimed works Three Works (2009), IAM (2012), Breathe (2014) & Worn (2018). White & Givan are also acclaimed movement directors/choreographers working in recent years with Traverse Theatre and the Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, and imagine if theatre co., Leeds. 

Errol was Associate Artistic Director/Rehearsal Director of Scottish Dance Theatre, helping to take high quality dance to rural communities and to secure full time funding for the company. He has also held the post of Artistic Director of National Youth Dance Wales from 2009 until 2013. With over 30 years of experience in the dance sector, Errol is in demand as a guest lecturer in dance colleges and various educational settings throughout the UK.
