Margo Bartlett (she/her) is from Portland, Oregon and her passion for dance started young at her local competitive dance studio. She later deepened her artistic focus through concert dance while attending the Arts and Communications Magnet Academy and the Oregon International Ballet Academy.

In 2022, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, to pursue dual degrees at the University of Arizona—a BFA in Dance and a BA in East Asian Studies: Japanese Language, where she graduated summa cum laude. At the University, Margo has performed featured roles in works by Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, and Bob Fosse, while also collaborating with contemporary industry innovators like Peter Chu and Kayla Farrish. In 2025, her exceptional versatility was recognised with the prestigious ‘Triple Threat Award’ from the School of Dance, and she was later selected to represent the School as the ‘Outstanding Senior’ for her class. This is Margo’s first season with Phoenix Dance Theatre.
