A native of Havana, Cuba, Yasset Roldan trained at the National Ballet School of Havana under the direction of Ramona de Saa. During his time there, he won gold medals in national and international ballet competitions, performed alongside The Royal Ballet during their visits to Havana, and appeared as a guest artist with Mzansi Ballet in South Africa. He also toured the world with the show Ballet Revolution prior to relocating to the UK.

Since moving to the UK, Yasset has worked with a range of companies across classical, neoclassical, and contemporary dance styles, including The Royal Opera House, BalletBoyz, Ballet Cymru, and Ballet Jersey. Recent performances include Sadler’s Wells’ production of Quadrophenia, a Rock Ballet, and BalletBoyz’ 25th anniversary tour Still Pointless.

He has performed works by Christopher Wheeldon, Russell Maliphant, Liam Scarlett, Javier de Frutos, Maxine Doyle, Marcus J. Willis, and more.
