Trustee Recruitment
In its 40th anniversary year, Phoenix Dance Theatre, one of the UK’s leading contemporary dance companies, is seeking new Trustees
Our Chair, Delia Barker, is seeking a group of peers from across sectors to come together to shape and drive the future of one of the UK’s most culturally significant companies.
The past two years have been incredibly tough for Phoenix, as they have been for the whole sector. From dealing with the profound impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and the killing of George Floyd, through to managing changes in leadership, the team have been working hard.
You will join us at a moment of pause and reflection as we re-group, re-focus and get ready to kick-start the next forty years.
In recognition of the responsibility of the Trustee role at this pivotal moment we will support you to do your best with us. We will create a peer network through a programme of training, action learning and culture and values building that will run alongside the governance responsibilities.
Delia Barker, Chair of Trustees, shares “I speak for all current board members when I say I have the greatest confidence in the work of the team at Phoenix and am excited about working collectively with a group of cross sector peers to the company’s future. I hope you will join us at this exciting time for Phoenix Dance.”
