Join us for our second annual Freelance Networking Day to meet likeminded artists, take part in workshops, learn from each other’s artistic practice, discuss ideas and connect with those in our local community.

Leeds has such an abundant community of freelancers and we want to offer opportunities to bring people together to network, get creative and spark new connections. We know how challenging it can be within the current landscape of the sector and we want to provide opportunities to connect with one another and meet the team at Phoenix Dance Theatre.

The event will include classes, workshops and creative sessions, ending with an evening social event featuring a short performance from our Company Dancers, a Q&A with our Artistic team and an opportunity to network and make connections with local creatives. Whether you’re a performer, musician, costume designer, lighting or sound technician interested in working with dance artists, you’re welcome to join us to make new connections and meet the team here at Phoenix.

Freelance Networking Day – Evening Social

An evening of networking, discussion, and the opportunity to meet like-minded creatives from across the North and the team here at Phoenix Dance Theatre.

We’re invited freelancers working across all areas who are interested in working with dance artists to come together for our Freelancer Networking Day – Evening Social. Featuring a short performance from Phoenix Dance Theatre’s company dancers, the evening will provide the opportunity to meet like minded creatives and industry professionals, and help facilitate future collaboration and connections.

Doors open at 5pm
5.30pm – 6pm – Performance of work by Dorna Ashory & Teige Bisnought
6pm – 7pm – Networking, discussion & Q&A with Phoenix Dance Theatre team
Refreshments will be available  

Please note: if you are already booked on to the Freelance Networking Day, you do not need to book a separate ticket to the Evening Social.
