We’re excited to announce our upcoming Pop-Up Performances taking place across our home city of Leeds this March.

Following our hugely successful takeover in 2024, we’re delighted to return to Thackray Museum of Medicine on Saturday 7 March at 12pm and 2pm, where we’ll be performing extracts from our Spring 2026 programme, Interplay. To celebrate National Lottery Open Week, admission to the museum will be free all day, making it the perfect opportunity to experience both the performances and the museum’s exhibitions.

We will also be returning to perform at Trinity Leeds on Saturday 14 March, 12pm & 1pm. Join us to be among the first to see extracts of this year’s programme ahead of our Leeds Premiere at Leeds Playhouse, running Tuesday 31 March – Thursday 2 April. 

Phoenix is incredibly proud of its roots and being born in Leeds. Whilst we are known for touring nationally and internationally, it is important for us to retain our position as one of the key cultural organisations right here in Leeds. We believe that great art should be accessible to everyone because it changes lives, and that great art is created through diversity – diversity of our company and staff, our programming AND our audiences. 

Dance should be for everyone, and we are committed to ensuring that we are providing opportunities for our local community to engage with and experience what we do. That is why we are bringing Phoenix performances and engagement opportunities into the community.
