We unite our professional dancers with audience members in this mass-participation event. 

The Time is Now is a dance for the environment, allowing people of all ages and cultures to come together as a collective to dance for their environmental futures. 

Choreographed by Phoenix’s Artistic Director Sharon Watson, the work will be performed to an upbeat remix of Greta Thunberg’s iconic keynotes speech by electronic music group, Utah Saints. Those wishing to take part can learn the choreography in workshops and through videos on both the Phoenix Dance Theatre and Leeds International Festival website, and on social media channels. The movement content will be suitable for all ages, meaning that anyone can come along and get involved, and dance like your future depends on it!
