We are thrilled to share another exclusive dance film from Requiem, filmed and produced by Opera North. Choreographed by Dane Hurst to Mozart’s ‘Confutatis’ sequence, it was shot on location within the imposing and atmospheric ruins of the church at the 800-year-old Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds.

If this has whetted your appetite for more you will have the opportunity to watch the full production of Requiem filmed at Leeds Grand Theatre when it premieres on BBC Four and iPlayer this autumn. We will share details of the date as soon as we get it!

Requiem premiered at Leeds Grand Theatre from 24 May – 4 June 2023 and was co-commissioned by LEEDS 2023, supported by The British Council.
